By what process do we discovery truths about the world?
From first principles - meaning there is nothing that comes before these
When you observe something over and over again, you conclude some general principle is true - like gravity

The process discovering whether the premises in an argument are true usually requires induction
Most conclusions based on induction cannot be considered absolutely certain but only highly probably
Are you absolutely certain that gravity make all object drop? All mean are mortal?

No human being possesses infinite knowledge, inductive conclusion can be wrong
Observable truth - all men are mortal, can see that beyond a reasonable doubt
Perfect induction = can be done in a limited scope. ie all the letters on this page are black

We can use induction to investigate God
Like gravity, we can observe his effects

Apathetic until it matters
Some claim that truth in morality doesn't matter... until someone treats them immorally
Effects can range from financially, socially, psychologically, spiritually and physically
Every moral law declares one behavior right the opposite wrong - it matters slavery, Nazis believed Jews were inferior
The apathetic are only apathetic in only some areas - not money, medicine, etc

Key Phrase: Some claim that truth in morality doesn't matter... until someone treats them immorally
