Did both or only one of the thieves insult Jesus?

Probably at first they both did insult Jesus and then one of them repented, and, while the other still was, rebuked him and asked the Lord to remember him. So he was saved. Luke doesn't say that the rebuking one had not at first been hurling insults himslef. It merely records a segment of the conversation. We see another "contradictions" which assumes exhaustive accounts.
