Is the Christian yoke easy or difficult?

The Lord does not make difficult serving him, but certainly (as stated later) the unbelieving world often causes us physical hardship. The last verse refers to discipline of God, which the Christian does not consider the uneasy yoke; God is the loving discipliner, not the hating master.
