Is God different in OT and NT?

Jesus said OT could be summed up by:

1. To love God
2. Love your neighbor

Matthew 22:35-37 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "`Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'

God gives lots of grace in the OT:

• Gave the people 120 years to change...Genesis 6:3
• Gave four generations to repent...Genesis 15:14-16

Jesus was just as stern in the NT
