Did seed time and harvest ever cease?

Seed time and harvest are another way of saying Spring and Fall, especially in the context of Genesis 8 which is speaking of the seasons.

In Genesis 41, there was a famine over the whole earth for seven years. The seasons didn't cease, just the fruitful yield.

They were forced to cease sowing and reaping during the flood, which was marked by heavy rainfall and not much variety.

This was not what happened in Egypt and the other countries during the famine in Genesis 41-45.

• Genesis 41:54-56 - and the seven years of famine began...
• Genesis 45:6 - For the next five years there will not be plowing and reaping

• Genesis 8:22 - As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest will never cease
