Discipleship is the ultimate aim in the purpose and plan of God
General definitions of a disciple is a Learner or Pupil
Three stages in discipleship:
1. The curious disciple
- Sermon of the Mount: Jesus began to teach everyone - Matthew 5:1-2
- To Jews who had believed him, Jesus said they must believe - John 8:31
- Peter did not understand what Jesus was saying - Mark 8:30-32
