Numbers 11
When I see all of the problems in my life and I hear all of the complaints of the people around me, I can quickly lose heart. I do not have the strength to sustain people's hearts. Moses felt the same way when he was faced with all the complaints of the Israelites while wandering in the desert. But when Moses stopped to pray, God took care of all the complaints. We must learn to rely on God's power when we face trials in our lives.
Practicals:
- When challenges come, I must be open with how I really feel (v.11-15).
- When challenges come, I need to turn to God in prayer (v. 2).
- When challenges come, I cannot lose faith in God's power (v.21-23).
Key Phrase: I do not have the strength to sustain people's hearts
