God wants to bless us - Matthew 7:7-11

NOT: Why are things so bad? OR Why me?

We need to ask God to help us answer the right questions:

• What can I learn from this problem?
• What is your will for my life?
• What can I change that will make his/her life and our marriage better?

We need to ask
Why don't we ask God?

• We think we are not worthy
• Our faith is weak
• We don't know what we want - we need to dream

vs9 - Jesus is referring to our needs
