3. Satan reveals his true self - Matthew 4:8-11
Satan: "You don't have to take the route of suffering"
"There are shortcuts, just give your heart away"
Jesus: "There are no shortcuts, my heart belongs to God alone"
Once we realize what a precious that heart's desire is, we must see that and guard it with all of our might
- To neglect it is foolishness
- To kill it is suicide
- To allow it to wander aimlessly is disaster
We must be serious about our happiness
