We Cannot Help But Proclaim

March 14th, 2007

Q. What are some of your favorite hobbies or pastimes?
How long have you been doing them? What do you like most about them?
Do you share your hobbies with others?
Do most people that you speak with about them seem interested?
Does that keep you from sharing? Why or why not?

What is the most out of the ordinary thing you have ever seen or experienced? ex; tornado, hurricane damage, celebrity, sports star, etc.
Did you share about with others? Why?
How would your sharing of that experience alter their lives? Then why did you share it?

Do you find it easy to talk with people about the Cross of Christ? Why do you think that way?
How can your sharing of your experience alter their lives? Why is it easier to share about something that ultimately won’t even affect them?

Read Acts 20:17-27

  • Why do people who witness events play such an important role in court cases?
    • Is our role as witnesses more or less important? Why?
  • Why do you think Paul said “I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of all men”?
  • Do you think that if we have not declared the whole will of God, or if we hesitate to
preach what is helpful that we are indeed guilty of the blood of men? Why or why not?
  • Do you believe that Paul was motivated to share because of that guilt? Or because of what he had witnessed?

Are you actively sharing as a witness to the Cross? Why or why not?

Will the Holy Spirit enable you to speak if you overcome your unbelief? How?

Make a decision and commit to it in your group about your desire to Proclaim the will of God!!!
