Proverbs 3:5
~ Our own understanding or opinions can mislead us.

• Rather simply follow Gods Word.

Proverbs 14:12
~ There is a way that feels or SEEMS right, but it is not.

• Rather just obey Gods Word.

Jeremiah 17:9
~ Our hearts LIE to us.

• Be careful about following your feelings on spiritual matters.

1 Samuel 13:11-14
~ Saul sins against God by following his feelings !

• Do not do it !

2 Corinthians 11:3-4
~ Some people preach a gospel and a Jesus different to the one of the Bible.

• Do not put up with it !

Jeremiah 23:16-32
~ We are told by God not to listen to religious leaders who do not follow the scriptures but prophecy the delusions of their own minds.

1 Kings 13:7-24
~ A young prophet is PERSUADED to disobey Gods Word and dies as a result of his disobedience.

• God expects unwavering obedience to his Word.
• Make a pledge to never allow yourself to be talked into disobeying God !

Luke 9:23
~ Being a disciple is more a matter of denying ones feelings rather than following them.

Matthew 7:21-23
~ We must serve God the way He wants us to rather than how we feel like it.

• If we live our Christianity according to our own desires rather than the will of God we will NOT get to heaven !
