God is Powerful

Power of God helps us focus and deal with whatever life throws our way
Causes you to relax and be calm during difficult times
Helps us realize that we are not alone

Genesis 1:1-31
- Created everything = in a short amount of time
- A LOT of power!
- God thought of us before we were created
- God's love was shown by his desire to provide something for us to enjoy
- God saw our every need

Genesis 7:16-20
- 20 foot above the mountains
- God didn't mess around
- God's love shown by not allowing people to keep hurting themselves
- Made a decision out of love to intervene

Genesis 18:10-15
- Nothing is too hard for the Lord
- God will bless your life

Genesis 24:12-16
- God uses his power to answer or wants and needs

Genesis 26:1-12
- God has power to bless us = difficult times

Genesis 37-50
- God has the power to right the wrong in people's lives
- Don't worry about getting back at people, let God's power help us.

God is personal

-God loves every one of us equally so that we do not fell lost or insignificant (only God can do this!)
- Knows every detail about is - This is God love
- God treats us just like he treated Adam and Eve

1:28 - Talked to them
2:15 - Provided for them; warned them as well
Chapter 2 - God provided a companion for Adam
3:8 - God followed us around, want us to be open with them
Chapter 5 and 6 - Knew Noah was righteous because he knew him personally
