Exodus 16:1-20
After the miraculous exodus
from Egypt, amazing the Hebrews started to grumble. If we grumble against
our leaders, we are grumbling against God (vs 8). God wanted to teach His
people to depend on Him daily. If they tried to gather manna for two days,
it would be filled with maggots (v.20). Some people ate more than others,
but each person had all they needed (v18). God always takes care of all
our needs big or small. (Manna means "what is it?")
